Before you have any prospective buyers through your home, follow some
of these ideas. It might help sell it quicker, and for a higher price!
Freshen Me Up
- Use flowers, potpourri, air fresheners (not too powerful though)
- Empty all garbage and recycling
- Stop smoking in the house long before listing it
- Keep pets clean (and the litter boxes too)
Fix Me Up
- Paint walls
- Replace anything broken, like windows, tiles, screens, etc.
- Fix leaky faucets
- Paint/stain that deck
Clean Me Up Inside
- Wash the floors, and vacuum carpets. Consider buying new flooring if needed
- Wash the windows
- Remove unnecessary furniture. It will make the house look
bigger. De-clutter.
- Tidy the closets. Buyers look there too.
